Climate Change

To all the school kids going on ‘strike’ for Climate Change:
You are the first generation who have required air-conditioning in every classroom.
You want a TV in every room and your classes are all computerised.

You spend all day and night on electronic devices.
More than ever, you don’t walk or ride bikes to school but arrive in caravans of private cars that choke local roads and worsen rush hour traffic.
You are the biggest consumers of manufactured goods ever and update perfectly good expensive luxury items to stay trendy,  Most if not all of your entertainment comes from electric devices.

How about this…

Tell your teachers to switch off the air-con.
Walk or ride to school. Switch off your devices and read a book.
Make a sandwich instead of buying manufactured fast food.
No, none of this will happen because you are selfish, badly educated, virtue signalling little ‘princesses’, inspired by the adults around you who crave a feeling of having a ‘noble cause’ while they indulge themselves in Western luxury and unprecedented quality of life.

Wake up, grow up and learn to research facts and think for yourself and not blindly accept the words and thoughts of others – I don’t think you formulated this action plan all by yourself – suspect you may have had some influence and ‘guidance’ from those you trust ….a word of warning, be cautious of the influence of the ‘left’ because there may be a time in the future that you will be the ones left out…

If You Had The Power, Would You Travel To The Past Or Forward To The Future?

Philosophical Epiphanies's avatarphilosophical Epiphany

If I can go back in time to March 24 – 2018, I will watch myself run to that sideline and rupture my ACL again and never change anything; because the mental growth and cognitive rewiring that ensued from that incident outweighs the physical ramifications.

What do we know about a predictable life, boring! no?

il_570xN.1169046465_cqsz.jpg       The vision, it was progressing, and the progress was very predictable to the point where each day was a repeat of the previous one, and the future was predictable, the vision was a predictable outcome. Then something unpredictable happened! I was glued to the ground realizing that I am going to be living an unpredictable uncertainty.

Isn’t uncertainty that ‘grey’ area where anything can happen and anything can exist; doesn’t that make it more exciting to wake up and explore the novelty of the day. Maybe we are afraid of uncertainty because…

I have been to Cornwall so many times without ever seeing this.

King Arthur at Tintagel, Cornwall. On the cliff by his castle.

Sculptor Rubin Enyon creates unforgettable public artwork using a variety of mediums—from wood and stone to iron and bronze. His recent work, Gallos, was installed in April 2016, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the cliffs of Tintagel. The stately 8-foot-high bronze sculpture was not only inspired by the legend of King Arthur, but also Tintagel Castle’s history. Commissioned by English Heritage, the public sculpture is located in Tintagel, a village in Cornwall, known as the legendary site of King Arthur’s conception.

“all the great legends are templates for human behavior.

i would define a myth as a story that has survived.”

Facts

It was sometime after midnight and before his courage started to fade
That he loaded his submachine and waited for the raid.
They were hiding all over the building some were even under the floor.
He was on his own and he was not about to knock on any door.

The roof tiles posed no problem and his grenade blew some of them away.
Six more were killed in the first exchange and the rest were going to pay!
He changed the magazine before it was empty as he was trained to do.
You pick everything up from a fire-fight, that way you leave no clue.

Three came through the trapdoors unloading as they went.
Two were killed in the opening blast which left one with murderous intent.
No witnesses were to be taken as was the way with secret acts.
Which leaves only me still standing who is aware of all the facts!
