I should have, I could have, I would have.
But I wasn’t aware of what lay before me, and now I don’t care!
Had you have known?
Did you know?
If you’d known, would you have done the same?
Would there then have been a treasure chest,
Or, nothing of material gain?
This is the puzzle, the conundrum,
Something not easily understood.
What should have been? What would have been?
If only we could!
Would we have done, Should we have done? Could we have done,
If courage was more widespread?
Have we been? Are we being? Should we be, so easily led?
Read what lies behind the words, then you may understand,
That wisdom and lunacy are forever; hand in hand!
